I come to work every day feeling like I am at war with our competitors. Okay, I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s the mentality that helps me figure out new ways to win. It’s one thing to lose a battle, but losing the war should never be an option.
I was fortunate enough to work with the late Rob Strasser and to this day keep a quote from him at my desk as a daily reminder of why I’m here:
“The way ahead is clear.
Be honest about the battlefield.
Throw out the old ideas that don’t make sense.
Get out of the comfort zone.
Go to the front of the fight,
And stay there.
And most importantly,
Cut out all the BS”
