I always dreamt of becoming a professional athlete, but my genes decided against me, so I never made it to the Olympics. Being a competitive person not only in sports (which I studied by the way), I set myself different goals. I figured out that I am constantly searching for new ideas and good stories to tell. This insight led me to where I am today: Now I am partner and Head of Marketing Intelligence at Apollo18, a sports marketing consultancy. Before that, I worked over ten years in a highly competitive digital marketing department at an international beverage company in Austria, Germany and Singapore as well as in an American start-up that disrupted the travel industry with airbeds. Apart from work I try to extend my (already way too big) sneaker collection, DJ and produce electronic music, practice Yoga and go snowboarding whenever possible.
