Tags: Future Team, Engineering, Outdoor, Skiing, Climbing I started working with the adidas Group in June 2011. Being an engineer in the Future Team at adidas is great as there are different challenges every day. It is common to be responsible for the engineering of a product from the first brainstorming through to launch. The feeling of ownership for a product is strong and being able to see the results of your work being worn by the public and top athletes is really rewarding. As well as working with a great team of people at adidas, we also work closely with top universities and industrial partners around the world. From chemical companies to knitting machine suppliers these collaborations mean we are always pushing the limits and working on things that have never been done before. I enjoy skiing in the winter and climbing, hiking, tennis and golf in the summer. I am learning (slowly and painfully) to surf and I also try to travel and explore as much of the world as possible as often as I can!
