I manage Storytelling & Advocacy for the Global Purpose team at adidas. Prior to joining the brand, I worked in content strategy, digital marketing, and public relations for over a decade, helping companies communicate the why behind what they do. Before that, I graduated with a BA in Mass Communications from UC Berkeley and later garnered a MA in Education from Loyola Marymount University. In my spare time, I love to write and publish personal essays in the likes of Salon, Thought Catalog, Darling Magazine, The Everygirl, and more. In 2016, I gave a TEDx Talk on how story has the power to change your life, and these days I share stories through a weekly personal newsletter and a podcast called Brave Enough to Be. I live and write and advocate for the power of sport in Portland, Oregon.
