I was born and raised in beautiful New Zealand and am immensely proud of where I am from. Sport has always a big part of my life and, in New Zealand, we are taught from a young age the core values of being courageous yet humble within sport.
It was courage four years ago that made my wife and I book one-way tickets to Amsterdam to start a new life, with no jobs lined up. But we were ready to give it a go and take on the world together in our own Kiwi way. I ended up with an awesome job at adidas, surrounded by sport every day. It also allowed me to apply lessons from sporting institutions like the All Blacks to my working life. My aim is to create the right office environment that lets people be courageous in their own way but also stay humble and focused. So that everyone in the team pulls in the same direction and we achieve positive results together.
